The Frédéric Chopin Society of Japan Award

I am happy and very honored to announce that I received The Frédéric Chopin Society of Japan Award this year, which was in recognition of my Chopin interpretation at my recital in Omiya, last September.

Actually, they exceptionally selected two pianists as winner this time. The other laureate was Nobuyuki Tsuji, the winner of the 2009 Van Cliburn Piano Competition.

Chopin is one of the most important composers for me, so I shall keep studying and playing his music regularly in order to understand more deeply.
